Are you a passionate about supporting the academic and social development of children with special educational needs (SEN)? Cover People are recruiting for one of their vibrant schools in South Manchester. We are seeking two SEN teaching assistants to work on a 1:1 and group basis in the schools enhanced learning provision.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Support the educational and social development of children with special educational needs (SEN), supporting a variety of needs including Autism.
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to children with SEN in the classroom.
  • Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for pupils.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to support pupil progress.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting children with SEN and complex needs.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing challenging behaviour.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confidence and ability to adapt to any situation.
  • Up to date CV, your CV must cover 10 years of employment.
