SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Middleton

Romano Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil with Autism in a primary school in Middleton. This is a full-time role starting in the Summer Term.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism
Support with structured routines and communication strategies
Collaborate with the SENCO and class teacher to implement support plans
Build positive and trusting relationships
Encourage participation and progress in the classroom

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

Experience supporting pupils with Autism or additional needs
A calm, consistent and supportive approach
Strong understanding of SEN strategies
Level 2/3 TA qualification (desirable)
