Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and community-focused school in Old Trafford. This rewarding role will involve providing dedicated 1:1 support for children with Autism, both inside and outside the classroom. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Autism, be confident in managing challenging behaviour, and demonstrate resilience and patience in a dynamic school environment.
A Teaching Assistant qualification and previous experience in a similar role are essential. If you're ready to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with special educational needs, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support for students with Autism, adapting learning approaches to meet individual needs.
Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies, ensuring the childs academic and social development.
Create a positive, calm, and structured environment to help students with Autism feel safe and supported.
Engage with parents, teachers, and external professionals to provide consistent support and care.


Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional references related to childcare.
Hold up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided).
