We're looking for full-time Teaching Assistants to work at a welcoming school in Manchester. The school offers a safe, inclusive and friendly environmentto "encourage and engage" - consider just one describing word - children aged 5-11 with additional learning needs and possible challenging behaviour.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work, encourage and inspire pupils each day. You'll have to assist teachers to achieve academic goals and ensure the safety of children.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to provide support.
  2. Assisting teachers to ensure the pupils are understanding the information presented to the best of their ability.
  3. Engage children with activities that would bring about imagination and creativity in the classroom.
  4. Understanding the individual needs of pupils

What you will need:

  1. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
  2. Being passionate about teaching and learning
  3. Tailoring your approach to the individual needs of children where necessary.
  4. Eligibility to work in the UK ( No Sponsorships Provided )
