SEND Support Assistant

Job Title: SEND Support Assistant Salary/ Rate: £92-£100 per day Location: South Manchester 

Do you have experience working with pupils with SEMH/SEND within a Secondary School or similar setting?

Are you looking for a role that is rewarding and challenging at the same time?

We are working with a large SEN School in the South Manchester area who have an immediate requirement for a SEND Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis. You will be required to support pupils with barriers to learning across the classroom and support the class teacher with managing classroom behaviour.

· Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Coach, Youth Worker or Support Worker.

· Have previous experience working with pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour

· Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.

· Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.

· Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
