We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with specialized experience in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) to join a welcoming KS1 team at an Ofsted-rated "Good" primary school in Trafford. This role will be vital in helping students thrive by providing tailored support and understanding their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASC and ADHD in a KS1 setting
  • Assist with developing personalized learning plans in coordination with class teachers and SENCO
  • Foster an inclusive environment that promotes engagement, independence, and learning
  • Implement effective behavior management techniques and sensory strategies to support learning
  • Monitor and track individual progress, offering regular feedback to the SENCO and parents
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience working with children with ASC and ADHD, ideally within a primary school setting
  • Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum and developmental needs of young children
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • A relevant TA qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential for the right candidate
