Are you a qualified and experienced Special Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant (TA)?Hays Education is looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to provide one to one support for pupils with Autism, EBD, Aspergers, ADHD, and learning difficulties. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your job is to enhance and enrich the learning of the pupils in your care. You will be required to effectively manage the behaviour of pupils, implementing effective strategies to keep them focused in class. You will also be expected to work alongside the class teacher in planning classroom and outdoor activities, ensuring that they suit the needs of individual pupils. With a good knowledge and understanding of what it takes to work with pupils, you will need to be a confident and patient individual who has competent behaviour management skills. You must have SEN experience & have recent experience of working with children in educational settings (and be able to provide references for at least 6 months).
