We are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Central Manchester for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time, term-time role, providing support to students with special educational needs within a supportive and dynamic school environment.

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring they have the tools, guidance, and encouragement to succeed academically and socially. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment and help students overcome any barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN across a range of subjects.
- Supporting the delivery of personalised learning plans and strategies.
- Assisting with behavioural management and promoting positive learning environments.
- Liaising with class teachers and the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to monitor student progress.
- Helping students develop their confidence and independence in their learning.
-Contributing to a nurturing and supportive classroom environment.
About You:
We are looking for an empathetic, proactive, and adaptable individual who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role or a keen interest in SEN support.
