Behaviour Specialist - SEN
We are seeking a behaviour specialist to work as a learning support mentor in an SEN school in Manchester. This is initially a temporary role with the potential to become permanent based on fit and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the class teacher to support students' learning
- Supporting 1-2 students more closely on a 1:1 basis
- Accompanying students both in class and during outdoor activities
- Implement different interventions and strategies to effectively manage behaviour
Key Requirements:
- Experience supporting individuals on a 1:1 basis
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A passion for supporting children with additional needs and challenging behaviour
- Resilience and empathy
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
