Behaviour Specialist - SEN

We are seeking a behaviour specialist to work as a learning support mentor in an SEN school in Manchester. This is initially a temporary role with the potential to become permanent based on fit and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the class teacher to support students' learning
  • Supporting 1-2 students more closely on a 1:1 basis
  • Accompanying students both in class and during outdoor activities
  • Implement different interventions and strategies to effectively manage behaviour

Key Requirements:

  • Experience supporting individuals on a 1:1 basis
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • A passion for supporting children with additional needs and challenging behaviour
  • Resilience and empathy
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
