Aspire People are excited to be working with a secondary school located in Manchester is seeking 2 dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant's to join their team starting January 2025. The role is full time during term time (Monday to Friday), providing one-on-one support to pupils with learning difficulties.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Supporting students with their educational and social development
Assisting teachers in creating a nurturing learning environment
Helping pupils to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential
To be put forward for this role you must have:
* A kind, patient, and empathetic manner
* Possess experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting
* Have experience supporting students with SEND
* Be passionate about education and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential
* Demonstrate reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic
If you have a degree relevant to the role or a teaching assistant qualification this would desired but not essential, but you must have previous UK experience working with children with SEND.
In this role you will be under the supervision of the class teacher and support children with special educational needs including Autism, physical disabilities, and Sensory impairments in and outside of the classroom.
All candidates who register with Aspire People will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed and must be on the update service.
We also offer a referral bonus of up to 250 for recommendations of candidates suitable for any of the roles we are recruiting for.
