The Role:

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs
Work closely with support staff, parents/carers, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each learner
Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
Support pupils emotional and behavioural development

What Were Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching students with SEN (either in mainstream or specialist settings)
Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
A proactive and reflective teaching style

Desirable:

Team Teach or other de-escalation training
Experience with PECS, Makaton, or other communication systems
Knowledge of EHCPs and safeguarding procedures
