Multi-drop Driver

Are you an experienced multi-drop driver with exceptional customer service skills?

We are a rapidly expanding and successful group encompassing all aspects of the meat trade, and we are currently recruiting multi-drop drivers to join our operation at our Irlam depot.

Our business, which is a catering butcher, has over 100 years of experience in the meat and farming industries. All products are prepared in the factory in Manchester daily to each customer's specifications, packaged and labelled to and above legislation, and then delivered directly throughout the UK.

As a multi-drop driver, your key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out approximately 15-25 deliveries per day of boxed, chilled meat products in a professional manner to various customers, including restaurants, hotels, and football stadiums
• Driving the company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
• Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance
• Maintaining good communication with company managers, customer services, and telesales

This multi-drop driver role would suit candidates with experience in multi-drop driving, distribution, logistics, customer service, and communication.

Working days are 5 out of 6 days from Monday to Saturday - 40 hours, either 05:00 or 06:00 start OR a part-time role, working 1, 2, 3, or 4 days.

Essential skills and experience include:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Good literacy skills
• Good communication skills
• Full UK driving licence, held for 2 years
• The ability to work to tight deadlines

Previous experience as a driver, delivery driver, multi-drop driver, or similar driving role is advantageous; however, full training will be given.

Our business supplies to customers, including hotels, restaurants, public houses, the education sector, outdoor events, and food manufacturers. We also provide national distribution via our own fleet and transport partners.
