Sports Coach - Special Educational Needs (SEN) School

Position: Failsworth / Oldham

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

Contract Type: Full-Time / Permanent

The Role:

As a Sports Coach, you will:

Deliver inclusive, engaging, and adaptive sports sessions tailored to the needs of students with SEN.
Encourage active participation and skill development in a safe and supportive environment.
Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure sports programs align with individual education plans (EHCPs).
Promote physical well-being, teamwork, and positive social interactions.

What We're Looking For:

A relevant sports coaching qualification
Experience working with young people, ideally in an SEN or educational setting.
Strong understanding of adaptive sports and inclusive teaching techniques.
Patience, creativity, and a commitment to nurturing each student's potential.
Safeguarding knowledge and a DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
