Sports Coach Secondary School Chorlton **MUST DRIVE OWN CAR & BUSINESS INSURANCE** ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching is looking for a confident and energetic Sports Coach for a school in Chorlton. You will be needed to deliver PE sessions and coaching sessions in the gym, taking students to sports activities, such as boxing, trampolining. You must be confident in implementing the school sport programme effectively promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles and be a perfect role model for pupils who are disengaged with their studies. The school is for students in a secondary school, many of whom have found it difficult to study in a mainstream school and some with an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school is a provision for a range of needs, including autistic spectrum disorder, Aspergers Syndrome, speech and language difficulties and severe social, emotional and mental health difficulties, for example, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), The position is open to all experienced and those who have a strong background in delivering and mentoring sports to children and young adults. Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience delivering sports sessions LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant/or equivalent and above is preferable.
