Now Education are working in partnership with a Pupil Referral Unit in Salford who require a PSHEE Teacher to work on a full time and long term basis. The role is to start in January 2025 and continue until the end of the new academic year. The hours of work are 8.30am-4.00pm Monday - Friday.

The Pupil Referral Unit caters for key stage 4 pupilswho have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools or at risk of this happening to them.

The most recent Ofsted report describes the setting as 'good' with staff enjoying professional and good humoured relationships with their pupils. Pupils also make significant strides in their social and emotional development due to the flexible and personalised learning approach.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has recently taught PSHEE extensively within their school career.

If your application is successful you will have sole charge of PSHEE within the setting so your subject knowledge must be secure and you must be confident in the preparation and delivery of engaging and motivational learning experiences.

The school are looking for someone who can fit in with their existing team of committed and hard working staff.

You will also ideally be experienced in working with students who have a range of SEND such as Autism, ADHD, Complex and Challenging Behaviour and those who are hard to reach.
