PAYMENT STRATEGY MANAGER £70,000GREATER MANCHESTER

THE COMPANY

This company is a small and close-knit financial services business who have a number of exciting projects planned. This role is a great opportunity to own their payment strategy and this side of the business, managing one analyst within a larger team.

THE ROLE

  • Identify and implement commercial payment initiatives to enhance customer experience, increase revenue, and reduce costs.
  • Lead the monthly payments forum, providing updates on performance, risks, and initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with payment service providers, optimising rates whilst maintaining high service standards
  • Work across scheme rules and compliance across the business
  • Collaboration with other departments including Finance to ensure accurate reconciliation of payments and refunds

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Essential to have experience in the payments space, within ecommerce, banking or a payments provider
  • Good understanding of payments processing from Direct Debits, BACS, Cards, Mobile Wallets, Faster Payments etc
  • Good understanding of payment regulations and scheme rules including PCI, PSD2 etc
  • Prior management/coaching experience
