Disrepair Surveyor - Housing Association - About The Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently representing a Greater Manchester based Housing Association who are looking to recruit a permanent Disrepair Surveyor. This role offers £37,000 - £44,000 per annum with flexible, hybrid working and an excellent benefits package with a generous pension contribution and 26 day holiday per annum.

Disrepair Surveyor - Housing Association - About The Role:

Carrying out disrepair surveys and producing survey reports where necessary
Receive and acknowledge claims relating to the Pre-action Protocol for Housing Conditions claims and deal with all aspects of litigated and non - litigated housing disrepair cases
Obtain relevant and necessary evidence (experts or otherwise), liaising with experts as necessary at the outset
Ensure that any relevant parties are kept updated and fully informed as to the progress of any claims to reduce any potential exposure/liability, minimise reputational loss and complaints and manage the client’s expectations
Monitor and report on the status of all disrepair claims and represent at court when necessary

Disrepair Surveyor - Housing Association - What You Need:

Full UK driving licence and access to own car
HNC in Building Surveying or equivalent
Experience within a Social Housing environment is desirable
