We are a leading recruitment agency specialising in the lifting industry, dedicated to connecting skilled professionals with reputable employers. We are currently seeking an experienced Engineer Surveyor to join our client's team in the Manchester and Lancashire area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of lifting equipment in compliance with LOLER and PUWER.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice and support to clients regarding safety standards and compliance issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices, offering recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Engineer Surveyor, with a strong background in LOLER and PUWER compliance, or experience working in the lifting, military or plant industry looking to become an Engineer Surveyor with training.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HND, degree in engineering or related field).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A valid driving license and willingness to travel within the Manchester and Lancashire area.
