We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Manchester, who are recruiting for a Responsive Repairs Surveyor on a temporary three-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £30.00 via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering pre and post inspections for repairs, diagnosing damp and mould, and ensuring adherence with HHSRS.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Carrying out surveys across a patch of Social Housing properties in order to diagnose any disrepair and structural issues
  • Diagnosing damp, mould, condensation and providing advice on remedial works for the role
  • Creating schedules of works following on from surveys in order for repairs to be completed
  • Undertaking post surveys to monitor the progress of works being carried out and ensure external contractors are working to agreed specifications
  • Liaising with tenants to provide updates on when the works will be completed

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience delivering an effective repairs service
  • Experience liaising with tenants
  • Experience identifying damp and mould

Working hours:

  • Flexible daily hours
  • Monday to Friday
