Job Description: We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Local Authority in the North as a Debt Recovery Locum. The client is looking for someone to start working remotely the majority of the time, but will require the odd attendance in court or office when required. This role is on a full-time basis for a 3-month period initially, with the potential for further extension.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing a large caseload including council tax debtors, business rates debtors, adult social care debts, probate issues regarding debts and all sundry debts that the council has to collect and litigate.

Recent Debt Recovery experience is essential, as they need someone who can hit the ground running. Candidates must have worked in a Local Authority, or Private Practice on matters regarding Debt Recovery.
