Role: Hire Controller
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: 30,000 - 34,000 DOE
Job Purpose:
My client is looking for a results-oriented Hire Controller to join their team, working directly from one of their major customer sites. This on-site role is ideal for a sales-focused professional who excels at managing hire desk operations and actively driving plant hire opportunities.
Hire Controller Main Responsibilities:
Act as the primary on-site hire desk representative, managing all aspects of the hire desk and ensuring a smooth, seamless and efficient service for our client.
Proactively identify and secure additional plant hire opportunities, by working closely with our customer to build and develop relationships.
Liaise and coordinate within the business to ensure all equipment is prepared and delivered on time.
To respond to customer requests within the required timescale to secure the hire.
Keep meticulous records, with particular focus on invoicing and documentation accuracy.
Address client inquiries promptly and professionally, strengthening customer relationships.
Hire Controller Key Skills:
Proven experience in a customer-facing, sales-driven role in a plant hire environment.
Ability to work under pressure, in a time critical environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to foster client relationships and drive business opportunities.
Proficient with MS Office and hire desk software applications. Full training will be given.
