The role involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, as well as loading and unloading deliveries and assisting with external breakdowns.
Candidates must possess a full clean UK driving licence and have previous mechanical fitter or maintenance experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
The salary for this position ranges from £25,000 to £26,000, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

We have an opportunity for a Driver/Fitter based in Manchester for one of our clients on a full—time permanent basis. Our client is a well-established plant and machinery hire with sites across the UK.

Responsibilities of theDriver/Fitter

Service, repair and maintain equipment.
Load and unload deliveries.
Deliver stock as and when required to cover absences.
Assist in the external breakdowns of equipment.

Requirements for a successful Driver/Fitter

Full clean UK driving licence.
Previous mechanical fitter/maintenance experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
Good communication skills.
