About Us: We are an international manufacturer of boilers and heating equipment to industries such as manufacturing, engineering, oil & gas, and pharmaceutical. Our products range from £80k to £5m, providing innovative and efficient solutions to our clients. We are seeking a driven and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team and help expand our market presence across the UK.

The Role: As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle, including new business development, account management, and business growth. You will leverage your technical expertise and sales experience to promote and sell our high-value products, traveling nationally to meet with clients and closing significant deals. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries.
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing high-spend accounts.
  • Sales Strategy: Implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct client visits, product demonstrations, and technical consultations across the UK.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge to understand and communicate the benefits of our products to potential clients.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record in technical sales, preferably within heating products, boilers, thermo dynamic products, capital equipment, capital machinery or a technical product / engineering based solution.
  • Skills:
    • Strong business development and account management skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and manage a national sales territory.
  • Technical Background: Solid engineering knowledge; a degree in engineering is advantageous but not essential.
  • Location: Must be based in the North West or Midlands UK and able to commute to the office when required.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license required.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Uncapped Commission: Potential earnings of £10,000 - £30,000+, with the possibility of higher earnings based on sales performance.
