You’ll work closely with the CTO and focus in on the key areas of Data and Cyber which as an online business is crucial to perfect. They also use the latest tech with an extensive AWS infrastructure and cutting edge website.
The ideal person for this role wants to take ownership over an IT Service Delivery function and get stuck into fundamental changes that will affect the course of a £40m business. There’s scope to grow a small team, get your ideas implemented and work with an impressive tech team.
Core Skills Required:
- Knowledge of Data Security and Cyber governance/ policy
- Experience with AWS/ AWS environments
- Experience with 3rd party agencies and software providers, including experience adhering to SLAs and 3rd party PEN testing
- Any ecommerce ecosystem experience such as IPaaS, ERPs, SaaS
- An interest in or knowledge of AI governance
- A nice to have would be experience ISO27001
Responsibilities:
These can be broken down into 4 key areas:
- Design, planning and project management of developments and upgrades to IT infrastructure and services. (This can also include the interesting scope of governance of AI applications.)
- Own, manage and maintain Data Security and Cyber Security governance/ plans
- Responsible for the day to day support, administration and compliance of third party systems’ solutions, to enable the business to function smoothly
- Ensure all internal users have access to appropriate hardware, IT services, applications and relevant education to enable them to do their jobs effectively.
This is a hands on, operational role in a company that’s punching way above its size. There’s no doubt it’s a challenging role but it comes with plenty of reward and progression.
