Our client is looking for a Service Assurance Engineer to join their IS Operations team. In this role, you'll support the Change & Transition Manager in ensuring new and updated IT services are effectively designed, transitioned, and meet business needs. You'll collaborate with various teams to coordinate service design and transition activities, ensuring a smooth and structured integration into operations.
Key Responsibilities:-
Assist in preparing service impact assessments, transition plans, and operational readiness reports.

Ensure clear service processes, roles, and responsibilities are defined.

Maintain accurate service documentation, including Service Catalogues and Support Models.

Monitor service performance, ensuring compliance with ITIL frameworks.

Contribute to risk management and business continuity planning.
The Ideal Candidate will have:

Proven experience in Service Transition and IT Service Management (ITSM).

Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management.

Familiarity with Prince2, ITIL, and Agile methodologies.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
The role is based in Central Manchester, ideally 1 day a week on site (flex if needed). The role is offering up to the £41,000 mark at the higher end (dependant on experience).
