As the Senior Garment Technologist you will:

  • Take charge of the garment tech function, leading a team of technologists and collaborating with design, buying, and production teams. Your leadership will be key to ensuring that the entire product lifecycle runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with buying, design, and production teams to ensure the critical path is adhered to and that timelines are met.
  • You will be responsible for managing sample trackers and ensuring all milestones are hit.
  • Own all fit processes, from grading to sample management across the team.
  • You'll ensure the final product meets the highest standards of quality, comfort, and fit. You will also oversee testing and quality control processes, ensuring the garment meets both performance and aesthetic expectations.
  • As a senior technologist, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the garment tech function, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve garment fit, and elevate product quality. Y

  • Maintain daily communication with suppliers, ensuring product development is on track and production timelines are met.
  • You will be instrumental in reviewing the supply base and introducing new suppliers as needed to support the brand's ambitious growth.
  • Set up standardised blocks for bestsellers and implement best practices for grading, spec creation, and sample processes.
  • Your expertise will guide the creation of accurate specs and ensure that newness and innovation are consistently brought into the business.
  • You will be goal-oriented and target-driven, working to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring that product timelines, quality benchmarks, return rates and cost targets are met.
  • Manage test reports, quality checks, care labels, and supplier manuals.
  • You will be the key decision-maker in managing the production seal process and requesting AQL reports from suppliers to ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards before going to market.
