Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical bias)
Location: Stockport, Manchester
Type: Full time, Permanent
Hours: DAYS ONLY Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, early finish on Friday 8am-1pm
Salary: 47,000 to 50,000 depending on experience
Benefits: Pension (5% match), 30 days holiday, annual pay rise, overtime available

The Company:
My client, a chemical manufacturer with nearly a century's experience as market leaders in the industry has now expanded to supply wholesale customers ranging from the UK to worldwide. They are seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with a strong background in manufacturing to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the completion of reactive and planned maintenance, as well as various projects and continuous improvement on site.

Responsibilities will include:

Performing preventative maintenance on a wide range of machinery including compressors, heating and cooling systems, boilers, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, control systems
Compliance and inspections
Supportive the engineering manager
Help with project and continuous improvement work
Assisting the production department

Requirements:

Minimum of 7-10 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with industrial equipment
Electrical qualification or equivalent
