A reputable provider of Fire Safety services / products across the UK are now seeking to take on a Fire Damper Engineer. You will be working on Industrial, Commercial, and Healthcare sites carrying out the installation, servicing, maintenance and testing of fire dampers in line with BS 9999 guidelines and client requirements.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Southport, Bolton, Wigan, St Helens, Liverpool, Wallasey, Birkenhead, Warrington, Chester, Macclesfield, Crewe, Buxton, Huddersfield, Bradford, Keighley, Leeds, Wakefield.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer for a reputable fire safety company.
" Holding the BESA fire damper or other industry recognised qualification would be beneficial to the role.
" Will have excellent knowledge of BS 9999 guidelines.
" Excellent time management skills.
" Able to work well independently.
" Good communication skills.

The Role:
" Undertaking installation, servicing and maintenance of fire dampers in line with client requirements and manufacturing guidelines.
" Assessing fire dampers, ensuring they are in safe working conditions.
" Carrying out fire damper testing.
" Working in line with BS 9999 guidelines.
" Liaising with project managers to ensure work is completed in line with agrees timeframes.
" Carrying out fault-finding on site, ensuring to rectify any issues in a timely manner.
" Inspecting fire doors.
" Providing clients with excellent technical support based on site finding.
" Advising on the current state of client fire dampers.
" Producing detailed reports using information from site.
