An Associate position has come in with one of the most established and well respected Transport Planning teams in the North West within a National Multi-Disciplinary. They can offer up to 65,000 for the position, plus a tax free bonus of up to 3,600 plus discretionary perormance bonus. They also have 4 holiday homes that you can use for free for a week every year! In the day to day you'd be taking a leading position in the team in Manchester, managing your own clients/projects and working with other senior members of the team to develop new business. You'd be working flexibly in the Manchester office just round the corner from Oxford Road Train Station. Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Prioritising the development and nurturing of client relationships within the North West Development Sector
  • Actively supporting revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Delivering schemes within budget and on time.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and your team to deliver high-quality transport planning solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior members of staff.

The ideal person will:

  • Hold a relevant degree and professional chartership with the CIHT/ICE (or equivalent qualification)
  • Have significant experience at a senior level in transport planning, demonstrating technical excellence and in-depth knowledge of transport and highway issues related to Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Environmental Statements, masterplanning, and highway design.
  • Excel in developing and nurturing client relationships, securing new business opportunities, and managing project delivery effectively.
  • Actively seek opportunities through existing and new contacts and be well-connected within the property sector in Manchester.
  • Be adept at managing project finances and contributing to overall business performance and growth.
