We are seeking an Achievement Tutor to join our ESOL Department in Manchester city centre. This role is ideal for someone who has experience working with ESOL learners and those who have come through the care sector, although this is not essential.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide tailored support to ESOL learners, helping them achieve their academic and personal development goals.
  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies that cater to the needs of learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of learners, providing feedback and additional support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with other educational staff to enhance the learning experience and address any challenges that learners may face.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum and teaching resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with ESOL learners.
  • Preferably, experience supporting learners from the care sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
