Now Education are delighted to be working in partnership with The Manchester College who require an Achievement Tutor to work Monday - Thursday supporting students who are studying construction, engineering and automotive.

The Manchester College has many Campus locations across Greater Manchester, each with its own specialist cutting-edge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment. They are the largest Further Education College in the UK providing education and training to a wide range of learners.

The successful candidate will work as directed by the Head of Department of English, Maths, and Progress, to manage allocated students/groups students, and deliver a highly effective tutorial and pastoral programme which ensures the overall academic, pastoral, social and behavioural progress of students is tracked and supported so students achieve outstanding retention, achievement, progress, and progression outcomes.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Certificate of education or PGCE.
  • Current and valid industry specialism.
  • Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).
  • Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification.
  • English and Maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above.
