The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Pre-Employment Tutor to deliver Level 1 & 2 employability qualifications to unemployed job seekers. This role involves supporting learners through sector-specific training, developing their skills, and preparing them for employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality employability training across various sector-led programs.
  • Design and adapt lesson plans and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles, ensuring content is tailored to individual needs.
  • Support learners in completing their portfolios and prepare them for final assessments.
  • Facilitate both in-person and remote learning sessions, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Manage contractual paperwork and ensure compliance with auditing standards and Ofsted requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and outcomes of training programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience delivering training in sectors such as Care, Hospitality, Retail, Business Administration, Customer Service, Facilities, Construction, or Health & Safety in the Construction Environment (CSCS card preferred).
  • Strong ability to differentiate content for learners with diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Proven experience managing compliance documentation and contributing to successful audits and Ofsted inspections.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with learners from all backgrounds.
  • Qualifications: A minimum PTLLS qualification is required; a PGCE certificate or equivalent is strongly preferred. Demonstrated skills in lesson planning, content development, delivery, and assessment are essential.

Additional Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check (required due to the nature of the role).
  • Regular travel across the Greater Manchester region; therefore, access to your own vehicle is essential.
