PMO Analyst / Integration Analyst

The integration Analyst works in the Strategic Change Team reporting to the Director of Integration. The purpose of the role is to collate, analyse and report on integration portfolio KPIs, to maximise business value through optimisation and oversight of integration aligned to business goals and strategies. To ensure that key integration controls are implemented considering impact to customer and colleague.

The Integration Analyst maintains the single source of truth and continually analyses the performance of the integration to facilitate effective decision making.

This is a hybrid role with a mixture of working from our Manchester or Stoke office and at home.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Maintain the ‘single version of the truth’ of integration information (e.g. status, plans, costs, resources) and aggregating and presenting that information to internal and external stakeholders through appropriate Forums and Committees.
  • Support effective integration management through analysis and reporting of key KPIs and making recommendations to line management, key-stakeholders, Forums and Committees.
  • Gathering independent evidence that the information from the integration portfolio is valid and the pre-defined Integration Strategy is on track to achieve its objectives and benefits.
  • Providing a macro view of integration considering all aspects, from functional integration to programmes and project integration initiatives.
  • Building strong relationships from ‘Executive’ to ‘Workstream lead’ levels, to ensure effective communication is maintained within Integrations.
  • Support the Director of Integration with producing key reporting, presentation and data set documentation to present to key Forums and Committees.
  • Support the continuous review and improvement of the Integration framework to ensure management of integration is comprehensive, consistent across different workstreams and delivering desired outcomes.
  • Identifying issues through monitoring of key controls, which may impact the successful delivery of the integration aims.
  • Regular reviews of Group Integration Business Standards, identifying areas for improvements and defining recommendations.
  • Maintaining the integration ‘portfolio level’ plans, identifying dependencies and constraints, which avoids bottlenecks and conflicting demands.
  • Working with the Finance Business Partner to maintain a consolidated integration view of budgets and tracking actual and forecast costs.
  • Reporting and monitoring of integration risks (threats and opportunities).
  • Co-ordination of the key integration controls (e.g. Discovery process data gathering, integration strategy definition and documentation, roadmap, plan, critical path / dependency maps).
  • Ensuring appropriate status reporting is delivered and maintained to ensure issues, risks, deviation from plan and decisions needed are proactively raised with the Director of Integration and/or Integration Managers for action.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience within change, programme, portfolio management.
  • Experience working on Integration related portfolios or programmes, covering all business areas from Business Operations, Finance, Risk and Compliance, through to Technology.
  • Experience working with large volumes of complex data and data analysis.
  • Experienced in producing and presenting simple to understand MI and BI.
  • Strong Microsoft Powerpoint skillsets.
  • Strong knowledge of change frameworks and the project lifecycle.
  • Integration/Portfolio planning and scheduling.
  • Resource management and capacity planning.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
