Job Title:Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing / engineering environment.

We have worked with this client for several years; they offer a first class working environment and the opportunity to work in the Manufacturing sector.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Main Duties:

Repair CNC Machinery, Manual Machines and Machining Centres

Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls

Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems

Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues

Identify and replace parts as necessary

Complete testing and make adjustments of parts as needed

Complete full condition appraisals on CNC machinery

Complete planned and preventative procedures

Planning and assisting with machine moves

Escalate issues that could disrupt production

They require a Multi Skilled Maintenance engineerwith a minimum 5 years experience.

Qualifications / Skills/ Experience:

Time served NVQ and / or degree qualified

Strong electrical, systems repair and diagnostic skills with strong mechanical skills

Conversant with CNC machinery including multi axis lathes, horizontal and vertical milling machines

Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides

Minimum 4 years experience in all aspects of CNC machinery maintenance / mechanical engineering in a manufacturing environment

Experience working on Fanuc controls would be an advantage

Ability to lift 50 lbs and to stand, walk, bend / stoop on a regular basis

Salary / Hourly Rates:

Salary between £35000 to £40000 plus overtime at Time and Half and Double time Sunday.

6:45 until 15:15 Monday to Thursday and 14:15 Friday
