Our client, a reputable consultancy in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Highway Senior Technician for a contract position in the Manchester area. This role offers a unique opportunity for those with a strong background in highways to contribute to significant projects outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support and expertise in highway design and maintenance projects
- Utilising AutoCAD to develop and modify detailed design drawings
- Coordinating with engineers and other team members to ensure project delivery
- Conducting site visits to gather information and assess project requirements
- Preparing technical reports and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with relevant highway standards and regulations
- Assisting in the management and supervision of junior technicians
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in highway projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for highway design purposes
- Strong understanding of highway standards and regulations
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
