Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master/Senior Vehicle Technician to join our client's well established dealership team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various technical tasks, including equipment repair and assembly. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service. The Master/Senior Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in maintaining our equipment and ensuring that all operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain various types of machinery and equipment.
  • Perform repairs on equipment using hand tools and power tools.
  • Assemble components according to schematics and technical drawings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in training junior technicians and sharing knowledge of best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar Master/Senior Vehicle Technician role with a strong emphasis on mechanical knowledge.
  • NVQ Level 3
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret diagnostics for assembly and repair tasks.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostics and other relevant equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers alike.
