Job Title: Transport Coordinator/Logistics Administrator.

Location: Trafford Park (10-minute walk from a tram stop).

Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience, plus Benefits.

Hours:  Shift basis on a 9-week rotation including Mornings, Afternoon, Evenings and overnight hours. Working 3 out of 9 weekends including bank holidays

Duties:

  • Supporting drivers with their days - Route planning, diversions, ETA's etc.
  • Updating of systems to any changes that have occurred from drivers - Delays, ahead of schedule etc
  • Customer Service - Updating customers on orders, deliveries...
  • Checking the systems to ensure that average weights are correct
  • General admin - updating documents, filing and shredding
  • Plus much more

Experience required:

  • Experience using SAP
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience
  • Confident Telephony skills
  • Ability to react quickly and solves problems

This is a very busy position where no two days will be the same, and requires someone who is a fast learner, strong analytical skills, with excellent IT skills. It is also a small team so requires a reliable person who can be relied upon to be present for every expected shift.

The working hours vary and operate on a shift basis E.G. Week 1 Mon - Wed 05:30 - 16:00 rest of week off. Week 2 Mon - Fri 14:00 - 00:00. Week 3 Mon - Wed 05:30 - 14:30 etc.
