We are seeking a qualified Animal Nursing Lecturer to join a college in the Middleton/Rochdale area. This temporary position offers an opportunity to impart knowledge and skills to students pursuing their passion in animal care.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver lectures and practical sessions to Level 2 Animal Nursing Assistants and City and Guilds Level 2 and 3 Technical Animal Care and Management students.
  • Prepare and grade assignments, assessments, and examinations.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and practical learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in veterinary nursing and animal care education.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be a qualified veterinary nurse.
  • Proven experience in teaching Level 2 and Level 3 animal care and management courses.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
