Due to business expansion and general coverage; we are now seeking for a flexible and committed Class 1 Driver to support our clients Manchester based operations.

Class 1 Driver - Rota includes nights and days.
Working Timetable/Hours: Ad hoc Temporary Shifts Available (nights, days).
Per working hour : £16 - £18 per hour plus other perks.
About You:
- Valid Class 1 Drivers License.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience driving a Class 1 vehicle.
- Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and up-to-date CPC.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to securely handle and transport various types of cargo.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide a 5-year checkable work history (no gaps longer than 28 days).
- Clean Basic Criminal Record Check (obtained within the last 10 weeks).
- Flexible and adaptable to the demands of the industry.
- Positive, can-do attitude and reliable.
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
- Adhere to a weekly rota for shifts (available for both nights and days).
- Plan and follow the most efficient and safe routes.
- Standard route: Manchester (MAN) - London Heathrow (LHR) - Manchester (MAN).
- Occasionally, you may be asked to make an extra stop at Birmingham Airport (BHX) on the return journey.
- Ensure timely and accurate collections and deliveries, complying with all regulations and minimizing disruptions.
- Manage work volumes, coordinate holiday requests, and address sickness-related absences in this ad hoc position.
