Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an Employability Tutor to support unemployed customers via classroom-based training to support them to gain new skills and ultimately secure employment.
You will deliver employability focussed sector-based learning across one or more of the following occupational sectors: Care, Hospitality, Retail, Business Admin, Customer Services, Facilities, Construction, Health & Safety in the Construction Environment and CSCS card. You will have previous teaching and occupational experience having delivered qualifications at both Level 1 and 2 including developing your own resources, lesson plans and schemes of work and you will ensure these are adapted to your student cohort and their individual learning needs,
You will be an experienced and passionate tutor/teacher, you will hold a minimum PTLLS qualification, ideally a PGCE certificate or equivalent. You will be methodical in your preparation, delivery and any required marking and you will be skilled in completing contractual paperwork and supporting across all audits or Ofsted inspections.
Due to the nature of this role you will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check and there will be regular travel across the region so access to your own vehicle is essential.
