We are seeking an experienced Engineering Tutor to coach, mentor, and assess Level 3 apprentices in Mechatronics, Electrical, and Mechanical pathways. This role provides a rewarding opportunity to pass on your industry expertise through hands-on training in both classroom and workplace settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions in classroom and workshop environments.

  • Mentor and assess apprentices, ensuring they develop the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviours for their qualifications.

  • Manage a caseload of learners, setting and tracking progress targets via OneFile.

  • Work collaboratively with employers to support apprentice's workplace learning.

  • Prepare learners for End-Point Assessments (EPA), ensuring high achievement rates.

  • Embed functional skills (Maths & English) into training delivery.

  • Provide high-quality marking, feedback, and learner support.

  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted and funding requirements.

What We're Looking For

?? Essential:

  • Industry experience in Engineering (minimum Level 3 qualification).

  • Functional Skills Level 2 (or willingness to achieve).

  • Ability to deliver effective coaching and engaging training sessions.

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and achieve KPIs.

?? Desirable:

  • Teaching or coaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, CTTLS, etc.).

  • Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/33).

  • Knowledge of government-funded training programs.
