Sports Graduate - Pathway to TeachingAspire People are working with a multi-academy trust in Manchester, seeking a dedicated Sports Graduate to start as soon as possible on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates passionate about teaching and aspiring to become teachers. In this role, you'll support the physical and emotional well-being of students by delivering high-quality sports and physical education activities.Key Responsibilities:* Sports Coaching: Plan and conduct engaging sessions focused on fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.* Behavioural Support: Use sports to enhance students' social skills, self-esteem, and emotional regulation.* Individualized Support: Tailor activities for students with diverse needs, including those with SEND.* Curriculum Integration: Collaborate with teachers to incorporate sports into the broader curriculum.* Progress Tracking: Monitor student participation and progress, providing feedback for development.* Community Engagement: Build relationships with students, parents, and stakeholders, organizing events and outreach initiatives.Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.* Experience with children or young people, especially in sports or educational settings.* Strong communication and behaviour management skills.* Enthusiasm for promoting the benefits of sports and physical activity.* An enhanced DBS on the update service will be required for this role, or we can apply for one for you.This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in education while making a positive impact.
