An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim People Development Manager to join a leading UK Not-for-Profit to support the People Development team during a period of significant organisational change. This key role will focus primarily on Learning and Development (L&D), driving the implementation of the new Oracle Fusion Learning Management System (LMS) and supporting various development initiatives.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of the Oracle Fusion LMS, ensuring the system is ready for go-live on April 1st, and supporting the team through user acceptance testing.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and ensure alignment with broader organisational development and HR objectives.
  • Provide leadership in the delivery of professional services and leadership development initiatives, including essential and regulatory training, leadership and management development, and career mobility.
  • Support change initiatives within the organisation, working closely with HR business partners and other teams to facilitate successful transitions.
  • Ensure the team is kept up to date with changes in regulations and legislation affecting essential training programs.
  • Support the People Development team in managing and delivering development programmes, including talent management and apprenticeships.

Profile

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Learning and Development, with a strong focus on strategic L&D priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (experience with Oracle Fusion is advantageous).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, particularly in the context of organisational change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to lead and support a high-performing, self-sufficient team.
  • A strong understanding of essential training and leadership development.
  • Experience working in a higher education environment or similar large, complex organisation is desirable.

Job Offer
