My client, located in Middleton, is seeking a warehouse operative to manage packaging products for the bakery, food, and catering industries.
The role requires handling goods in a warehouse or stockroom, with responsibilities including receiving deliveries, order picking, and checking for damaged items.
Candidates must possess a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 3 points and may need to drive a 3.5T van for deliveries.
The position offers a salary of £12.21 per hour and involves working Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not specified in terms of years.

My client, based in Middleton are a supplier of packaging products to the bakery, food and catering industries.

You would handle the goods and products in warehouse or stockroom.

You must have valid UK driving licelses (3 points maximim)

Job will involved:

Receive deliveries of goods and supplies
Order Picking
Check for damaged or missing items
Store goods
Move stock around by hand, using lifting gear
If required to go out driving for deliveres (3.5T van)

Pack orders

Load, and sometimes deliver, goods
Keep records of stock
Keep paperwork up to date
Clean work areas

Understanding and following health and safety rules would be essential in this job.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08.00-17.00 and Friday 08.00-16.30

Salary £12.21 per hour
