Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Water Leakage Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for detecting, pinpointing, and repairing water leaks in underground and above-ground water systems. You will work as part of a team to help maintain the integrity of water networks and reduce water loss.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct water leakage surveys using advanced leak detection equipment such as correlators, acoustic loggers, and ground microphones.
  • Pinpoint the exact location of leaks in underground water systems and report findings.
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of water mains and distribution pipes.
  • Maintain accurate records of findings and repairs using company reporting systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and local authorities to minimize water loss and disruption.
  • Respond promptly to water leakage reports and emergencies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in water leak detection and repair (preferred).
  • Familiarity with leak detection technologies (e.g., acoustic, correlation, GPR).
  • Strong knowledge of water network operations.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular hours when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
