Water Utilities Field Technician

Field based: Covering North West of England (Machester, Liverpool, Lancashire, West Yorkshire)

£29K plus Vehicle and on call allowance, excellent pension, 25 days holiday

8.30-5 Mon-Fri plus one in four on call rotaAre you a competent Water Field Service and Maintenance Engineer, looking to work for a large, growing utilities group, in a role offering long term career development.The role is field based covering a regional patch (all sites within 2 hours drive ). There are opportunities to increase earnings through the on call rota and a vehicle is provided.The role will be to undertake routine maintenance and be a site presence for the office based team to address issues and incidents as they arise.The Role

  1. Full time permanent role offering excellent long term opportunities in the water industry
  2. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections
  3. Taking pressure and flows internal and external, as well as leak detection and network auditing
  4. Effectively manage work schedule, calls, administration and inventory ensuring you optimise your time and delivery against the metrics set within the business.

The Person:

  1. Experience of working on water mains networks
  2. Experience of operating valves, Washouts, fire hydrants
  3. Any of the following tickets; Water Hygiene, SHEA Water, CSCS
  4. UK driving licence
