I am working with a leading global manufacturer who are searching for a Product Owner to join their team.

If you are Agile certified and have experience of ecommerce systems, CMS and web development/design then this may be the role for you!

The role is based in Manchester, with mainly remote working (once a month in office).

Description

  • Act as a bridge between business and IT, working with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions.
  • Manage and prioritize technical requirements in product backlogs, aligning them with business goals and improving customer experiences.
  • Validate technical solutions, assess impact, and oversee reporting for transparency and progress tracking.
  • Mentor teams to ensure strong technical and product alignment.
  • Analyze change impact, propose solutions, and drive measurable results through collaboration and governance.
  • Lead the development and optimization of Web CMS and Commerce systems, ensuring seamless integration and technical compliance.
  • Work with developers, vendors, and architects to ensure solutions are technically feasible, covering Web APIs, system design, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Establish governance processes for clear tracking, reporting, and accountability of deliverables.

Profile

  • Holds an Agile certification or qualification
  • Strong knowledge of web system design, integrations, and architecture.
  • Experience with software development, Agile processes, and modern practices.
  • Hands-on with platforms like CMS (e.g., Sitecore), eCommerce, and CRM systems.
  • Familiar with Azure and cloud infrastructure.
  • Understanding of commerce workflows and stakeholder needs.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, analysis, and solution design.
  • Capable of stakeholder training, requirement gathering, and prioritization.
  • Experienced in reporting and governance for project tracking.
  • Knowledge of system design, including client-server models, microservices, and APIs.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional, diverse teams with global insights.
  • Able to assess technical solutions for feasibility, scalability, and business alignment.

Job Offer

  • Salary range between £55,000 -£63,000 depending on experience
