Assistant Website Developer (12 Month Fixed-term)
The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a client operating across the Transportation sector, collaborating closely with key stakeholders, such as Local Authorities, Train Operating Companies, Network Rail, TfN, and the DfT, to drive positive outcomes.
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000
Location: Manchester (Hybrid working arrangement)
**Fixed Term contract for 12 months**
Role:
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a local authority that is looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join the team as an Assistant Website Developer assisting in the development & maintenance of web products and visualisation dashboards. You will play a pivotal role in providing support to our clients' development of publicly visible technical products, which includes their website.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop web services and supporting products to support various projects.
- Utilise wireframing software to create prototypes and design user interfaces, with a preference for Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and maintain static and dynamic web service front-ends, including data visualisations, interactive GIS models, and static web pages.
- Work with web-centric programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and PHP to build scalable and efficient solutions.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of website development projects, ensuring coding best practices and functionality alignment.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in designing web services.
- Familiarity with wireframing tools, ideally including Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience in website development and relevant coding skills.
- Flexible to be in the office 2-3 days a week in Manchester.
