We are seeking a meticulous and organised Site Administrator / Document Controller to join our team on a construction site at Manchester airport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all documentation related to project, ensuring that documents are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. This role is crucial for supporting the administrative functions of the organisation and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Duties

  • Organise and maintain project documentation in both physical and electronic formats.
  • Ensure all documents are properly filed, stored, and archived according to company standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using various software applications including Google Suite and QuickBooks.
  • Provide clerical support including typing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  • Maintain an effective filing system to ensure easy retrieval of information.
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and document flow.

Experience
The ideal candidate

  • Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computerised systems for document management.
  • Experience in office administration or clerical roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and Google Suite is advantageous.
  • Excellent typing skills with the ability to produce high-quality documentation quickly.
  • Previous experience in data entry tasks is beneficial
  • Construction experience advantageous.
